Battle for a New Champion is the 39th season of MTV's The Challenge. This season brought together 24 previous contestants to battle it out for their first ever Challenge championship. Hosted by TJ Lavin, this season saw the competitors face off against former Challenge champs as they navigated three stages of the game: Control, Chaos and Conquest.
